Data Redundancy

Backup systems ensure data preservation in case of a monitoring system component failure or database corruption. Backup involves duplicating the database across different sources and synchronizing it when failures or data loss are detected in one of the sources. In addition to database backups, the following methods can be implemented to further mitigate risks:

  1. Autonomous (offline) storage of measured parameters in sensors/input modules/local gateways (such capabilities should be provided at the hardware level) – this applies when there is a temporary disruption in communication with the server.
  2. Full software system redundancy: Two independent systems, each with their own databases, simultaneously polling shared sensors (Redundancy).

Tarqvara GMP Monitoring System

The Tarqvara GMP monitoring system implements fourfold redundancy for recorded environmental parameters, process events, and system events. Additionally, the system supports full software redundancy (Redundancy option), ensuring maximum reliability and data integrity.
